Manage custom repositories

Cyberwatch allows to create/update/delete custom repositories in order to regroup multiple rules under a label other than the default ones in Cyberwatch (CIS_Benchmark, Security_Best_Practices…).

Create a custom repository

  1. Go to the Settings > Repositories
  2. Click on the “Add” button
  3. Give a name to the repository, choose a color and optionally add a description, then click on the “Save” button
  4. The repository is created and visible from the repositories list

Update a custom repository

  1. Go to the Settings > Repositories
  2. Click on the pencil “Edit” button corresponding to the chosen repository
  3. Update the repository’s name, the color and the description as needed, then click on the “Update” button
  4. The repository is updated with the new information

Delete a custom repository

  1. Go to the Settings > Repositories
  2. Click on the trash “Delete” button corresponding to the chosen repository
  3. A confirmation modal opens, click “OK” to confirm the repository deletion
  4. The selected repository is deleted
