What is the difference between an Auditor and a Security Administrator?
- Auditor: read-only access to resources.
- Security Administrator: extended access, especially on vulnerabilities and analyses, but without full system management.
To see the complete role matrix, consult this page.
Can I export reports if I am an Auditor?
Yes, users with the Auditor role can create and export reports, like all other roles.
Why can’t I edit a discovery or a connector using an identifier?
System Administrators must have access to all assets in order to edit objects using identifiers without projects.
Security Administrators cannot edit “Network Targets and Websites” using authentication.
Why don’t I have access to alerts, reports, or dashboards created by other users?
These features are specific to each user account. They are only visible and editable by the account that created them.
Where can I find my API keys?
API keys can be found in the “API Keys” section of the user profile page.
These API keys can be modified by the corresponding user.
As a System Administrator, why can’t I edit the analysis, deployment, reboot policies or criticality levels?
You will not be able to modify analysis, deployment, reboot policies or criticalities unless you have the “Access to all assets” permission.
Your System Administrator account probably has restricted permissions. You can check your permissions on your user profile.
Can I prevent assets from restarting in Cyberwatch?
An Administrator can allow or disallow, for the entire instance, patch deployment, technology uninstallation, and/or asset restart from Cyberwatch in the “Administration” menu.
